Bonga Na Gava is designed to bridge the gap between young Kenyans and the legislative tables where decisions are made. We facilitate the youth to formally present their views to the government on proposed laws, policies and regulations.

A law, policy, bill, regulation, or other legal instrument is identified as open for public participation and the opportunity is uploaded onto the BNG system.

Registered BNG warriors and citizens receive an SMS alert with information about the issue under review, the opportunity to participate, and how to engage.
You choose topline comments
Through a simple SMS flow, participants receive clear topline comments or engagement options that help break down the issue into understandable and actionable points.
You submit your views
Using the SMS menu, participants can select and submit comments, concerns, recommendations, or suggestions on the issue under review.
Your views are captured
Responses are collected and organised by BNG, creating a structured record of citizen contributions.
Stay in the loop
Participants may receive reminders, deadline alerts, confirmations, and other relevant updates throughout the engagement period.
Voices become insights
BNG reviews and analyses the contributions to identify key concerns, suggestions, recurring issues, and emerging trends. These insights help inform reports, dashboards, advocacy efforts, and memoranda submitted to relevant government authorities.
